Outlander themed / Scottish thistle and bees

Scottish Thistle flows and bumble bees panel. I was inspired by the new outlander book and so I present to you my ode to “Go tell the bees that I am gone”. 

This panel measures 20 x20. Pattern designer is MichalAdams. 

The center bee is a large bevel cluster. The purple thistle flower is surrounded in each corner by hand cut bees from iridized clear, gray and amber glass. All of this surrounded by sky blue glass. Truly a unique piece that looks so beautiful with sunshine coming through. Framed in zinc framing snd finished with 2 coats of black patina.
